Hobie Storage on Long Island

I sailed my hobie getaway nearly every single summer day when I lived in Rhode Island. I moved to Brooklyn for a couple years and now I live out on Long Island Farmingdale (11735)....I've only been able to sail once or twice a summer since I moved. Anywho I miss sailing a lot and have been contemplating buying my own used Hobie. The problem is I really have nowhere to keep one. It'd have to be on the water and have access to a hose to wash it off after I sail it since I'm pretty meticulous about maintaining my stuff. Money's an issue there isn't much extra in my budget so it'd have to be pretty darn close to free for me to store it...Anyone familiar with the area or have any ideas for me? I'd be happy to crew on someones boat as well. I just need to sail! Preferably I'd like to have my own boat, I love single handing, but storage is the issue.
