Hi, I have just bought an old Hobie 14 and it came with two sails. They are about the same area but one has a longer luff and shorter foot than the other. Both sails have the Hobie logo and both fit the mast. Does anyone know why there should be two sizes of sail? Is one a storm sail?

They may have the Hobie logo, but I'll bet that one is an aftermarket sail.

The sailmaker's patch is usually by the tack. That will tell you who made them.
