Sad day at Crystal lake as I put my getaway under wraps till the long weekend in May of 2011. Its going to be a very long cold winter in Saskatchewan!!
Maybe in February I will jet away somewhere warm and rent a Hobie off the beach. :D All my experiences with rental boats are all bad.

So sad. I put my boat to bed today as well. Last year we moved to Mexico for the winter but this year we have to stay here and freeze our a$# off for six long months. We can (censored) together.

Awe, too bad for you guys. We've got another month of warm weather sailing here, then maybe two months of using the wet suits. Probably put mine away just before Chrismas. Ain't global warming great! LOL.

Sorry to here the bad news guys.
Forecast is 90 degrees and blowing dogs off chains here today, cant wait 'til after work, going to get the 14 wet.
You know, we have four days of Summer left and we'll be sailing here through the first week of November. Fall is some of the very best sailing all year, great winds, beautiful colors and migratory birds.

Yeah - mine is sitting on dry land now :( I'd continue to sail in a wetsuit - but the boat lift it lives on in the water has been brought in, before it gets too cold to convince my sons to jump in the lake to get the dock and lifts out!
