I prefer neoprene shorts with neoprene vest (with rash guard) versus a shortie. You don't have to totally strip down to pee and you won't pee on your dangling top. Also with a neoprene vest I'm not being strangled at the neck like a shortie. I think my shorts are 2 mm. They are probably ten years old but I don't remember the brand. The logo is long gone.

I noticed that you're from Ontario. I bought great neoprene shorts from MEC. You can visit them online, and I believe they deliver. There are a few stores in Ontario, I'm close to the one in Toronto, and Burlington.

I just checked their website, they don't seem to have the ones that I bought from them on their website, but I'm guessing that's because things like that are seasonal. I've found many of their house brand items to be quite good, and a good value.

The website is:

You can find them online from Overtons. Or go to Amazon and type in "wetsuit shorts" or "wetsuit pants" in the search field.
