I pulled my 14 and my 16 over miles and miles of sand
You will have to do a bottom job every once in a while
I would never pull a race ready boat over anything
Cat Trax are great for the old back
I can barely get my Hobie 21 SE out of the wave swash
Real cat trax are a must for 600 lbs on the sand

Hobies are pretty tough I drove mine over a rip rap seawall and it survived
