You can access it via the HCANA's Facebook page:
HCANA on Facebook
Be forewarned - because of all the content in this one, it's a big PDF - 18 MB.

Definitely not for dial-up.

If you want the printed copy, you'll need to join the HCANA with at least a $20 recreational membership - http://www.hcanamembers.com

Ummm, ummm, discussion on MB's column on the recreational sailor thing?

Notable line: "...people quit pushing, burned out or ran out of ideas... you can’t ever stop pushing and innovating."

Thoughts: First one: powerboat. Second one: communication. Third one: venues. Fourth one: dorking around.

Thoughts put together: Find an improved method of communicating three or four days ahead of time (at least) when wind appears to be favorable a venue offering a safety powerboat where RSVP'ing Hobies can dork around. Get a quorum. They will come? Doesn't have to be a stellar racing occasion, just come and go numbers thing. Just a thought. You asked for it.
