Hey guys we started a small wordpress site to post general cat sailing topics for our fleet members we are working hard to promote the sport and though a blog might help out people new to the cat sailing scene. This is the first blog but we have a few planned that will be more DIY focused that answers those questions we all ask when we start out.
Let me know what you think

Great Blog, I love it! We ought to do something this for our new Fleet in Shreveport. A quick note about aftermarket sail lofts. Even though they may do great work, I would caution against buying aftermarket (non-Hobie built) sails because they aren't legal for class racing. While it doesn't matter to some folks, it does to others, and you don't know who might be shopping for a boat when it's time to sell. By the way, I love vintage sails! Hope I haven't hijacked this thread, it should be about your blog and fleet.

Thanks for your responses. I think everyone would be aware they are not class legal do you think I should add a note about that on the blog?
MVD if you like the site I am completely open to having people contribute articles. We have put allot into making sure people get the info in several ways once you post on the blog it copy's over to our Facebook page and goes out to the email subscribers also rss subscribers and we have an iphone app submitted to Apple pending approval. If you set up a blog maybe we can swap blog post to keep our content fresh. Thanks again for your input.

Thanks man! I see the same questions posted on my local cat sailing forum all the time so I thought it might help to just start a blog with articles about stuff the new guys are looking for.
