Planning a trip(Bowron Lakes in BC) where you need to portage and do not want to take the outriggers but still want to use the sail. Has anyone tried this with any success? How tippy etc.

I think your in the wrong forum. I think your talking about the Adventure Island or something similar. Here is mostly catamaran sailing.

Any way with anything more than light winds I would think it would be very tipsy without the outriggers. Very very tipsy.
