I am a fairly new sailor and I've been dealing with a lot of light wind lately, and am wondering if what I am doing is correct and if there is anything else I can do to help performance.

This is what I am currently doing on my 2008 Getaway:

(1) Mast rake - using the standard Getaway setup, I am raking the mast slightly forward so the shroud wires are only two holes from the top, and the forestay pulls deep into the adjuster at the bridle.
(2) Downhaul - I am only gently pulling the wrinkles out of the sail.
(3) Main sheet - sheeted snug but not tight to maintain sail curve
(4) Main clew - main block is attached through the furthest aft/leech clew hole
(5) Jib - jib sheet is dual tensioned to create a bit of curve (after the leeward jib sheet is set, the lazy jib sheet is slightly tensioned).

Are these things even helpful/correct to increase light wind performance?
Are there other suggestions to increase light wind performance?

The getaway is not a good light wind boat a bit heavy

Yes. That's precisely why I need to know the best way to rig it for light wind. I'm still going to sail! But how can I maximize light wind performance?
