I put a NEW OEM trampoline on my H16 a month ago and when I first put it on I noticed two holes, one each in both the port and starboard half. The holes are just shy of where two welds come together. One is on the outside rear corner where the grommet and luff welds meet. The other is directly diagonal from the first at the two welds that meet near the extrusions. The holes are just inside the welds at the corner on the single ply portion of tramp. I could probably push a pencil through them with little effort.

I would imagine these areas are hit with heat twice and that this is a critical step in the weld process, but I would think with all the time, materials and high cost machinery involved this could be avoided.

Is this common and need I be concerned about abnormal wear?

What does your dealer think? That should be your first stop. It does not sound normal.
