Racing set to begin at high noon. Be there early to make certain you have your boat rigged, ready, and on the line! As always there will be plenty of experience around to help you any way we can on and off the water. While there might be some competition raging, our first and foremost goal is teaching... All experience levels are more than welcome!
The series will include all of the following race days:

Sat. June 21st
Sat. July 5th
Sat. Aug 2nd
Sat. Aug 16th
Sun Sept. 14th
Sun Oct. 12th
Governed by IHCA rules and the Racing Rules of Sailing
The Fleets (currently) will be broken in the Hobie 16 Fleet and an Open Fleet. The Open fleet will include Waves,
Hobie 18s, Hobie 20s, Waves, Prindles, and any other similar catamaran with approval of the Fleet
Captain. The Open fleet will be scored based on their finish place, i.e. no ratings adjustment.
The following High Point Scoring will be used where N = the number of starters in a race.
Finishing Place Score
First N (Minimum 3 Points)
Second N – 1
Third N – 2
Fourth N – 3
Each place thereafter subtract 1 point.
DNF will be scored 1 point.
DNC will be scored 0 points.
DNS will be scored 0 points.
DSQ will be scored 0 points.
OSC will be scored 0 points.
OOD (RC) will be scored the average score of their other non DNC races. A total of 6 discards will be allowed beginning with 1 after the 6th race and increasing by 1 after every 2 additional races have been completed.
