Does any one out there know if springs for the old style Seaway cam cleats are still available? Hobie dealers used to sell packs of them, but I haven't seen them in years. I just used up the last of my spares , and sooner or later another will wear out!
Thanks,
Dave

Dave,
This is going back many years, but did you ever find those springs for the SeaWay cam cleats?

Thanks
Rick

Unfortunately, they are not available. Might be time to upgrade to Ronstan or Harken.

Thanks J. However I'm having a hard time finding cam cleats with the 1.75" spread that the Seaways had.

Any ideas?

Rick

Hobie Part 50010 is an adapter plate that will convert the seaway spacing to standard Ronstan/ Harken. Available from any Hobie dealer.

Hope that helps! Sail on!

I may have a cam and spring rebuild kit for the old seaways. Email me if you need them.

Rick- I guess the post kind of answered itself! In the years since, I finally wore out another which prompted me to retrofit to Harken cleats.... Ah, buying a new boat- piece by piece!
