Has anyone ever painted or had their hulls painted? Is this possible? Does it look good?

Painted? There are many threads in these forums about paint. Search with key words, but yes people paint them. Best in a same or similar color so scratches show less. 2 part epoxy or polyurethane paint I think. Makes the boat a little heavier.

There's a guy in our division that just sprayed his H20 with blue gelcoat. Came out good! Might be hard to see in this lo res video from last weekend.

Hard to see? If you'd gotten any closer I'd think you were boarding!!!

Ya boy, that's blue alright!

So Jeremy, What other videos you got we haven't seen yet?

Nice stuff, who cares about the resolution

Thanks for the compliments. I pretty much get video at every regatta. Sometimes I'll pass the camera off to someone else. The video gets interesting from there. I gave the camera to a friend at a Saturday night regatta party. The more beer , the more incriminating:) The thing that has recently changed is that I was talked into buying a Mac. It' very easy to edit video using iMovie. I've got big plans for next season! And, this Winter, when The Lane starts to break over 15' we're going attempt some tow ins behind a Hobie 20. We almost got crushed last year. It will be part of our "Don't try this at home" series.

Been doing video editing on Macs for years now.

iMovie is a great app!

Have some really good video of my trips to SE Asia (just too bad I didn't get any video of me and my fiance sailing a rental 16 in Pattaya), especially of me arguing with the guy on the beach that we where going to take it out without him on it.

(ARE YOU SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING?!), This is a 1979, it's a classic.. Ummm dude, I got a 75' at home, and YES I know what I'm doing.. LOL

Unfortunately my fiance didn't like sailing on it..
