Cool article - I found it interesting that in 1969 Hobie Alter came to Lake Hefner Oklahoma - and Cats were not legal on our lake then.
He got a lawyer to get the city ordinance changed thus creating our venue as it is today - the hobie Life style still continues almost 40 years later. :D
