Since it's now SNOWING (go figure). Still, the Portland/Vancouver area Fleet 72 went out for a chilly but unexpectedly windy sail last Saturday, when the weather was better.

"Belay that gib halyard, arrrrr!"

Flying high - and brave too, as earlier the trap stop disintegrated and teabagged this first-time crew all the way down from the wings into the chilly water.

Soakin' in the sun...errr haze.

'Course, I had to catch the creepin' crud from my daughter, or from work, or from the plane I was on twice the last week...so I'm still sailing through the eyes of the camera. And now it's snowing again, no fair!

Thanks! Pics are Sue Wood's, last year's Hotline photo contest winner (also one of her pics as the cover of Murrays catalog). More at http://www.twango.com/channel/Fleet72.Yaletuneup08

Hope to have some more on-the-water coverage soon as I take my Hero 3 cam out...

More recent sailing photos here. You do need to "join" costco, but the pictures are fun.
