Hobie Cat/General Jackson Showboat

We visit sunny Oceanside, California and Hobie, the company that put American- made catamarans and kayaks on the map. Then we head to Nashville, Tennessee and take a paddlewheel riverboat ride as we explore the Music City on the General Jackson Showboat.

Great show.

That show makes me want to do a road trip to the factory. I thought it was cute when John left with two AI behind his RV.

Make your road trip in October and race sail in the Dana Point regatta they are having out there to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Hobie Regatta. The factory is only 1/2 hour to the south down the 5.
BTW Nelson, when you head that way, stop by here and pick up my 16 for me and haul it with you out there.......
