Just wanted to introduce myself as a new TI owner. I've lurked around these forums for a long time and finally decided to pull the trigger. Probably wouldn't have done it without the useful information you fanatics post here so thank you. Also wanted to say thanks to my dealer.

They made sure I was very well taken care of even though I think the majority of their business is with much more expensive water toys.

Has anybody christened their TI with a name, or is the TI too much of a kayak to be worthy of a "boat name"?

Hi hobieutah,
My TI was christened "Josephine Two". I am now looking for some suitable letters to stick on the hull. Josephine (One) was a tiny tiny dingy - no boat is to small to have a name.

Our TI is simply "the boat" or "the tri", while the Revo is "Revo".

Too funny, And Mitch just addresses the little lady as "The Wife".

We actually put a lot of thought into naming our boats with Hawaiian names for Hawaiian waters. One of my favorites is "Nani Moku" or "Beautiful Island".

A name that works on several levels is cool. Or one that embraces the spirit of the boat and how you will use it. (Pleez, no ghetto spellingz!)

And you can never go wrong naming a boat after a woman (or gettting that name tattooed) Right?

For the TI may I suggest "2XAdventure" "2XFun" or "Island II"

That's true! A friend of ours had a boat named "Rays 'n Waves"

Rays and Waves / Raising Waves (the water kind of waves) / Rays and Waves (the hand waving to say hi to fellow boaters)

I always liked that name.

I always wanted to name one of my boats "Yellow Water Spider" in Hawaiian, but had trouble translating it, and may not have a long enough hull to fit it all on it. :)
