Gday.
I bought a dune Tandem Island about a month ago.
We have been out 6 times, and all I can say is I'm really happy so far.
Comfort and easy to use, well thought about design.
Mainly flat water so far but had one calm day in the ocean and caught a snapper and a few spotty mackerel trolling a deep diver.......Too easy compared to paddling my canoe.
I've sold my 14ft cat since getting the TI and the Tinnie seems to beg to be sold and the canoe hates me.

I see a few AI's at Moffat beach from time to time, may well be some of you on here, I saw you guys and got jealous so I joined the club.

Frogsta.

Thats funny. My wife bought me a TI for my birthday, and I promptly joined a fishing forum in Australia.

Even though I live on a little island between the Bahamas and Haiti.

Welcome Frogsta, I'm at Marcoola so might see you around. (My daughter lives at Dicky)

Where abouts is a launch site at Moffats ? I've sailed down in the Pumicestone a few times and I'm pretty keen to do the Mooloolaba Beach (launch down near the Fisheries onto the sheltered waters of Mooloolaba just inside the entrance to the river ) to Old Woman Island if you're interested anytime.

There is a boat ramp in the middle of Moffats, bit steep but doable and one of the best least wavy places like Mooloolaba and Noosa exept in a northerly.
I just got back from a run in the passage and on saturday I sailed from tripcony ramp to lighthouse reach easily in a 10 knot breeze.

I can't wait for winter west wind as I'm super keen to do a day trip from Moffs up to old woman and back.
Will do pics next good day.

Welcome. I too just got my TI (Dune) at the beginning of December, and I've been having fun on it ever since.

The only issue I've been experiencing is that my aka's come undone (thus coming away from the hull) on rougher water, one of which caused me to caprize. Working with my dealer now to sort-out if this is a fault with my TI (the akas) or it's a design flaw.

My dealer says, this shouldn't happen. It's happened to me twice now.

Hopefully I get it fixed soon.
