Stringy's fusion of the Sistine Chapel with Roadrunner's AI might have been pushing the envelope a bit.

Are you trying to tell us Chris that.............that wasn't Stringy !!!!

Next you'll be saying that the wrestling is fake !

Reliable sources inform me that it was indeed Stringy, but that the picture was taken after a heavy night at the 2009 Firemen's Ball (held at the Sistine Chapel, East Gosford) and subsequently pasted onto a photo of Roadrunners AI.

Chris- I will continue with my current policy and will neither confirm nor deny those rumours  Oh- and thanks for spotting the cherub in the clouds from our BI trip and submitting it on my behalf!
Slaughter,
This has been a great thread. Thanks for starting it. 8)
As others have said choosing a winner is very difficult but here goes.
My all time favourite is still K-Bobs "Time for Scott to reef more" but if this isn't eligible then-
#1-Tupelo's "Hobie Island". To me this beautiful pic is what the AI is all about.
#2-Skymax's "Catch me if you can". Fantastic creative camera angle.
#3- CGM's "Det off Lion Island". Great pic of an area very well known to me.
Special mention should go to Roadrunner for his review of the cherub pic. Brilliant stuff and certainly worthy of a rudder pin! :)

Thanks Stringy. A mate of mine spotted you at Hawks Nest the other week and then you go and start working with Tim at Toronto. Did you kayak to work ? Pulling the kayak on the cart up Toronto hill would have been a cow. Geez you get around.

I'm starting to tally this up but there are still a couple of regulars that need to vote. You know who you are !

No I didn't though it wouldn't have been so bad. You haven't seen my driveway!
Yeah. It was funny when I mentioned to Tim I had a mate with an AI who lived not far from here and he told me your name! Small world.
On our recent Hawks Nest holiday one day at Jimmy's Beach there was an AI in the distance on the sand. I walked over and it turned out to be someone I'd given a demo to in my AI early last year! :)

Thanks Slaughter for starting this thread. It's shows not only are there some great AI/TI sailors out there, but photographers as well! 8)

Oh no!! Your'e pulling a guilt trip on us procrastinators
I've had a difficult time making these choices.

#1 Cosgomoo - Giggley Sailor-ette. Can't help but smile everytime is see her.
#2 OkzOOK - AI Solitude. Know just what that feels like.
#3 Stringy - Cherub. There were so many great action photos and it was very difficult to choose which one. You can see the wind, waves, and a wild ride with the cherub helping to make it a great one.
Honorable Mention:
Skymax - The World Is Mine
TaxYackMan - Wet Ride
Gringo - Dooley The King of the Tramp

I think I better stop here or every photo will be named.

Slaughter - what's the official result?????
I must say I enjoyed looking at all of them and decided to stay impartial 8)
Are you going to run another comp for 2011???
I think I may have an entry or two - including the very rare Hobie Butterfly :o

You're right Mickey. I started adding up the results and got distracted. Talk about slack. I'll see what I can do this week. If someone else wants to have a go and start one up for 2011, please go right ahead.

Looking forward to seeing your shots Mickey. Hobie Butterfly ???
