This coming year has at least 7 full weekend regattas on the calendar, and leaves open time to participate in the Mid-winters in March or April as well as next year’s Hobie North Americans Championships taking place in September. 2015 is shaping up to be a good year to be racing a Hobie in Florida!!

Gulfport Yacht Club Club Race Series - This yacht club is Gulfport/St.Petersburg Florida hosts a Saturday Club race twice a month on the first and third Saturday. This typically involves 2-4 buoy races. Typically it starts with one open Portsmouth class which is most A-Cats and Hobie 16s. After the first start, the following races go off separately for the A-class and Hobie 16 class as necessary. These races are a great way to keep your sailing skills in shape, and to get out for a day of competitive buoy racing. Gulfport Yacht Club is also home to Hobie Fleet 5. See the clubs website for schedule and more details.
