I have a 2012 PA12 demo that I bought in 2012 and just installed the H-Rail kit. It was a nightmare until I realized my original shafts were longer than the ones in the kit. It took 2 hours to do the left side and 20 minutes for the right side once I discovered I needed to use my original shafts.

Has anyone used one of these kits to add rails behind the seat of a PA14? I don't like having a lot of obstructions in front of my seat. The only thing I have mounted on the rails is a 1" ball on the left side for my Lowrance Elite 4 - which I installed on Saturday and found you need arms that drag the ground to reattach the backing screw on the thru hull plug behind the seat. Anyway, that means I have two Rod holders, two vertical Rod holders, a couple of mighty mounts, the cup holder, all jammed up from the seat back. Would love to have another set of H-Rails running to the back of the boat.
