I have looked everywhere for a Hobie Wave forward crossbar part #38131041. There are none to be found. Does anyone know if I can convert a rear crossbar into a front crossbar?

The rear will not be good as a forward crossbar. The forward one is much thicker /stiffer (or has an insert in European versions). In early testing we bent the extrusion that is used as the rear beam.
