On my H17 the top comp on the mast was loose.
So I removed the comp tip from the mast (only 3 rivet). The 3 rivet holes in the comp tip need some repair !
what's next to do?
Of cause it needs 3 new rivets but thats not all. Do I have to use some kind of glue/epoxy too ?

I'm not totally clear with what you did. Did you remove the entire comptip? How would you do that by removing only three rivets?

The comptip on the 17 is held in place by both glue and by the mast tang fasteners. There were two types of mast tangs. The original mast tang had a single bolt that passed through the mast. The current mast tang is the same as the other hobies and is held in place with about 10 or 12 rivets. So I'm not sure what three rivets you removed.

In any case, if you removed the whole comptip from the aluminum mast section, when you re-install it, you should use epoxy in addition to which ever mechanical fasteners were originally used.

They must be different in Europe, because that's not like the one's I've seen here in the US. But in any case, I would throughly clean both the aluminum and fiberglass mating surfaces. Then re-install with thickened epoxy and replace the rivets.
