Hi.

Posted this in Getaway forum and thought I would leave a copy here. New owner here. The book shows the jib connected with a shackle and quite a bit of line. Mine was only connnected with a couple strands of small line. I noticed last week that the line was frayed and this weekend the line parted and the jib started to slide down the forestay. I don't want to have to keep fixing the jib, any input here helpful.

Line attachment at the jib's head. We normally use a bunch of turns of 1/16" (leach line). I would probably run 6 loops. This shouldn't fail though. Must be rubbibg on something?
