I can't be sure of this Stupidjet, but as I recall from the instruction slip that came with my livewell, a constant red light means the battery is fully charged. Blinking red indicates "still charging". I would check for you immediately but mine is still in storage. Hopefully somebody can confirm this, if not, I'll let you know ASAP. Too bad they didn't go the distance and use a green light to indicate full charge! Perhaps it's the $$$$$!

I have the Hobie live well with an extra battery and charger. Here is what the Operating Instructions state:

"When the battery is charged, the charger will switch to trickle charge automatically. The charging indicator will flash to show that the unit is operated in trickle charge state"

I hope this helps and good luck fishing:)

Best Regards

Maui mark

Sorry Stupidjet, looks like I had that one backwards! I'm glad Maui Mark chimed in to correct me. Thanks MM!

your welcome GR8 Laker,

I actually couldn't remember myself so I had to double check. It does seem backwards from most other battery chargers that I have utilized in the past.

Take Care

MM
