I have an older heavy duty Hobie kayak cart (kind that goes into scupper holes). The inner tubes are shot. I found new ones on Amazon for wayyyyyyyyyy less money than a new kayak cart. (about $4 each).

Anyone have any experience or tips on changing them out? I think I need bent-valvestems. Then pretty much a set of motorcycle or bicycle tire irons and pry away the bead on one side of the tire until it's half on the rim. Then fish the old one out, and then fish the new one in and re-seat. That's what I'm thinking but would love to hear from anyone else who has done it.

I couldn't find an exact axle-diameter match to just replace the wheels - I was hoping some hand-dolly wheel would work.

Hi Puto, did you figure out a solution to replacing the inner tubes on the Hobie heavy duty wheel cart? I'm having the same issue and wondering which tubes to purchase and how to swap them out. Thanks for any guidance.

We discontinued the carts with the innertubes almost 10 years ago. No info on what tube it is. Nothing written on the tube?... how about looking up by tire info?
