I recently bought an old 2005 outback for cheap. It has a few issues(missing pedals/rudder/hatches/etc), but the boat/hull/masts are in good shape and appears it has been lightly used considering the age. I usually cruise around solo in a 2014 oasis, so this will be a fun river boat for me if I'm solo or let my bro borrow my extra drive and take the outback.

Does anyone know where I can purchase a front hatch for this boat? I've looked around and can't find anything with listed measurements that would work. The inside diameter is 7", outside diameter is 9".

Well I think I found the hatch I need.. https://topkayaker.com/index.php?main_p ... ucts_id=72 but of course its discontinued.. they say to use this as a replacement https://topkayaker.com/index.php?main_p ... cts_id=697

I'm not sure that the replacement will fit.. looks like it may be just a tad big to fit in the recessed circle on the outback. Definitely the closest hatch I've found tho... hate to spend $60 for something I can't use! Might just bolt a cutting board to cover the hole.. or just bungee something across to keep most water out.

The size you want does not seem to exist. This one is 8 inch outside diameter, not quite what you want but it's cheap and if you just cannot get the perfect size this one could be made to fit. There would only be a 1/2 inch overlap all around but it may be the best you can do.

Hatches:

8" twist and seal kit. 8" is the access diameter. The outer flange is closer to 10"
