2024 Hobie Mirage Kayak Specs and Changes

This topic has been created to track the 2024 changes to the Hobie Mirage kayak line. I did this here (https://www.hobie.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=70265) for the 2023 model year. I had decided to stop posting these as this forum is way down on posts and visitors. But a user requested one for this year so better late than never I guess.

Only Hobie Mirage Drive (Pedal) kayaks are tracked here. Hobie does now have two nice paddle kayaks (Endeavor and Quest), the Eclipse pedal boards, and SUPs. I do not track any of those.

As information is released by Hobie (or rumors heard) regarding 2024 model year changes, please post them here or PM me and I will update this top post and the table below.

Kayaks Discontinued

- Pro Angler 360 12
- Pro Angler 360 14 (including Mike Iaconelli Special Edition)

New Kayaks

- Pro Angler 360XR 12
- Pro Angler 360XR 14

Model-Specific Changes

- iTrek 9 Ultralight - added accessory mount for bimini/sail, deleted paddle and holder clips
- iTrek 11 - added accessory mount for bimini/sail, deleted paddle and holder clips
- iTrek 14 Duo - added accessory mount for bimini/sail, deleted paddle and holder clips
- iTrek Fiesta - added accessory mount for bimini/sail, deleted paddle and holder clips

- Several color changes. See spreadsheet for available colors by model.

Price Changes

- Compass +$50 ($2,799) but no camo upcharge (was $150)
- Outback +$50 ($3,699) but no camo upcharge (was $150)
- Pro Angler 12 +$50 ($4,599) but no camo upcharge (was $200)
- Pro Angler 14 +$100 ($4,799) but no camo upcharge (was $250)
- Pro Angler 360XR 12 +$100 ($5,699) vs Pro Angler 360 12

[EDIT] 2024-04-05 Noted that 2024 iTrek inflatable models no longer include paddles or paddle holder clips.

I was told by my dealer that in 2024 iTreks do not come with a paddle. The iTrek 9 I purchased did not have the paddle holder clips either.

Looks like your dealer is correct. Was not expecting they'd drop the paddles! This does not seem like a good idea. The beauty of all Hobie Mirage kayaks has been that you could still paddle home if the Mirage Drive broke. Removing the holders makes it hard to even store one now.
