I have read all the forum posts I can find. I need to service my older V2 drives, and one QT drive. It sounds like grease should be used in the hub and idler shafts. Marine grease is recommended but I find it can stain my yellow kayak or anything else it gets on. So I am thinking a non-petroleum grease would work and not stain. Something like Super Lube perhaps. Any recommendations?

It's a bit pricey but if you're looking for the ultimate grease then it's hard to beat Dupont Krytox.
