One other nice thing about Getaway is the really substantial front spreader bar (at least in the models up to 2016-dunno what they did in 2017's version). You don't really need a bowsprit to fit a spinnaker to a Getaway since the front spreader is so robust. The T2 front spreader seems a lot flimsier based on photos I've seen and the fact that no nets are attached. Granted, I like flying spinnakers, but I'm also cheap (and don't believe in spending $2K for a repurposed kit).
Buying a boat is usually an emotional rather than a intellectual decision. Something about a boat just says, "Get me".
