Hull reinforcement posting?

Purchased a Hobie 18 Magnum (87) last week and have been reading a lot of great input from these forums. Keep seeing reference to a post by Matt Miller regarding reinforcing the hulls forward of the front crossbar, but have not been able to locate it. Could someone respond with a link or specific location on the postings where it can be found? Much appreciated (especially in light of the posting added earlier today of the H 18 Coast Guard rescue).

This one might be helpful. Someone also mentions an earlier post by mmiller in it, and a method for finding it. I didn't have time to look for it, but someone else might find it for you if you don't.
