Hey
Just finished up restoring a Hobie 18 and have put wings on it. I'm not sure if I should put mesh trample on them? It seems that it might be very slippery to stand on when trapping out.

Any experience with that?

My wings still have the factory mesh, which is a little rough due to age. I do not find them slippery. Trapping out on the wings is a fantastic experience, but a little scary when the hull flies high as you are a few feet higher up vs trapping off the hulls.

I have mesh tramps on my wings. I wear Keen sandals that have a hard sole and closed toe. Makes it more comfortable to have a sturdy sole instead of something super flexible. The wings are a little complexity to trapezing, but I love it. You get high in the air quick.
