We bought two of the Hobie elliptical boards. I can't stress enough how fragile these boards are. They are very fast but have there down sides too. Here is my review.

Thanks, but to be clear I think you are not complaining about structural integrity but only cosmetics. I wonder how these handle in significant windwaves and boat wakes, and whether an extremely tall person would have to hunch over due to telescopic limits. There is now an 11' inflatable version:
