Hi everyone - new Compass owner here! I am going through the process of getting it all setup and i was looking to swap the rear hooks around and move the rear most hooks into the center spot so i can lash my crate to it. They appear to be in there pretty tight so i was wondering if its possible to remove them? I am not sure if they are threaded or just pushed in there so before i go heavy handed and break something, whats the right way to remove them, if its possible? Thanks!

assuming the compass fittings are the same as on other hobies, the plugs are threaded in. Use some long nose pliers to fit into the little nibs and twist out. there is a hobie tool for it, but its not necessary. For cleats and padeyes you can just grip the fitting and twist

Thanks! After posting the above I did some more research and realised they were threaded. Came out no problems!

The "loop/padeye" style tie downs can be removed by inserting a screwdriver shaft into the loop and rotating the tie down where you can get it loose enough to turn by hand.
