Hey guys,
I got a 2019 Hobie Compass just less that a week ago. I had the dealer relocate circle to the front and install the rectangular one in its place. I was finally able to get it on the water this weekend. I found the hatch upgrade was easy to open but had to use some elbow grease to get it back closed and secured. When out of the water the hatch works flawlessly. Anyone else experience this issue? If so were you able to find a fix?

You might need to readjust some of the foam blocks below the floor around the edge of the hatch to help push the floor up just a little to allow the hatch to close properly. There is a molding "bump" on the hull inside that a few folks have sanded down a little to help the hatch close with the rectangular bucket installed. I didn't need to do that with mine. I am assuming you are using the rectangular bucket in the hatch.

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I saw your solution too late. Instead, I did some modifying to the box. I actually trimmed 1/2 inch around the whole rectangular bucket but left the height where the clips are... may be a rough fix, but it works great now. Thanks
