Swiming on and off the compass? I want to enjoy lakes and the nearby TN River and I'm deciding on a Compass or an Outback. I demoed the Compass this weekend and I couldn't get back up on the Compass once I was in deep water. Can anyone give me advice on using the Compass for recreation and swiming?

You should practice getting back in any kayak. Maybe try the kayak rescue step? It is a webbing device to help you get back in.
