Seems like it would normally be a good deal but the pics show very little other than a lot of exposure. How about the bottoms of the hulls, the sails, the condition of the mast track, and basically anything above the hulls? If the lines are as weatherbeaten as the hull seems to be, you're in for some expense (not a lot).

Wonder what happened to the original set of sails. Its hard to guess from the logo, but my guess is that those are SloSails. Not saying that's a bad thing as I have a set that I race with all the time and I love them, but it looks like they were cheep and didn't get windows, tell tails, sail numbers, or a class insignia done so it makes me wonder how cheep the current owners are when they come to their sailboat and what would have caused them to replace the sails on a boat that's only 10 years old when they obviously aren't using it to race.

Hey Tiberius yeah I think the sails are just ugly as crap. They look as basic as it gets so my intentions are to sell them and get other ones , but did you take a look at the rudder picture what do you think of the condition ? I am just hoping when I go to see it that the main structure of the Hobie is ok , I am willing to replace a few parts here and there and make it my own.

Anton same goes to you what did you think of the rudder pic ?as I noticed it seemed to have epoxy around and in the inside of the gungeon
The add said that all the shrouds were replaced and when I talked to him he said the bottom of the hulls were in good condition but who knows until I actually see it . I have talked to a bunch of knuckle heads that really won't tell you anything about the actually damage of the boat until you get on the phone and they start rambling about a story of this that and the other and that broke or they heard something crack. I don't know why I specifically ask all the people I have talked to, to take pictures everywhere on the boat specifically stating all angles of the pontoons etc and they never get it right. They take like 5 and then go ok. Then I have to email them again and get them to take more ugghhhh.

The pics just suck. I'm curious about the side of the hull in the rudder shot; looks either retouched in the photo or else repaired. It's way duller than everything else, at least it seems so in the photo.

How far are you from the boat? Maybe someone else should look at it?

Still, if the hulls are good then it's hard to go wrong at that price.
