I am having issues with the mirage drive popping out on my 2011 Hobie outback. It only occurs when in the water and under pressure. It’s mostly the left side, although the right has done it before. Once it starts popping out, it’s difficult to keep in. When I put the drive in, I noticed the right has play like it’s supposed to but the left is very tight. I’ve read the Hobie forums and seen various suggested solutions. I have made sure the drive is set well. Has anyone had this issue and solved it?

Review the spine shaft that locks into the click-and-go. Is it loose in the spine? Can it spin? Newer drives have a spine shaft that has splines to prohibit the shaft from rotating while pedaling. That rotation can "walk" the click lever open.
