I have the cradles ordered so I can haul my 2019 hull down on my trailer. I need to renovate my trailer and need to put cross pieces to bolt the cradles to. Can anyone give me the dimensions of the mounting surface of the cradles? I know they are supposed to be mounted 63"-67" apart. Does anyone know how far from the stern of the kayak the rear cradle needs to be placed? I want the kayak to sit about flush with the rear of the trailer. I was transporting it upside down on the top rails which are around 48" high. The Outback hung over the back of the trailer about 2', so I put a longer tongue on the trailer and will mount cross pieces lower between the wheels to mount the cradles. I'm almost 60 and lifting that thing and flipping it by myself is just getting too hard!

Thanks,
Bill

I'd also like to know this? I think one can probably figure it out too but, it would be nice with such a specifically formed product to have an exact measurement to work from.
