I recently bought a 2020 Hobie Outback and my family surprised me with a Simrad GO7 fishfinder. It's in the mail and hasn't been delivered yet, and I'm just wondering if it is compatible. I know not all transducers fit on the guardian shield. Any feedback will be appreciated.

While Hobie hasn't published a template for the Simrad TotalScan transducer, it looks to me to be very similar to all the other large sidescan transducers they have templates for. I'd be pretty confident it will work out fine for you, but you might consider just unboxing the transducer and doing a trial fit to be sure so you can return/exchange it if necessary. https://media.hobie.com/digital_assets/ ... 8.5x11.pdf
