Mirage Hank Parker Outback Fisherman

I recently picked up this kayak but it s missing a seat and peddle drive. Can anyone tell me what year or years this kayak was made and which seats and drive will fit it. Thanks!

The Hank Parker edition Outback was around 2006. Seats are either the 81268001 (expanding pegs) 81269001 (twist lock) - need to look at mounting holes on kayak to decide which. Some dealers may have these in stock or pickup on ebay or facebook marketplace. Any series of Mirage drive will work though for newer drives you will need to cut off the alignment pins. The Mirage drives are very expensive new so try ebay and facebook.

Some added thoughts:

1. Hobie Mirage kayaks sold without drives and seats may have been acquired through theft. Not always, but often.

2. Hobie Mirage kayaks of that vintage often have cracks in the Mirage drive wells. These forums have many details on repairing if that is the case.
