Passport 12.0 Click & Go Spring Replacement

Hi All, My mirage drive click n go springs, that automatically click and lock my MD system in place, have seen the end of their useful life.

I can source the springs relatively inexpensively but was wondering if anyone has seen a replacement guide or has any tips to swapping out the old, broken ones, for new ones?

Place a warranty claim if these have rusted... Should not.
