New passport finally came (damaged but they are already sending a new one) and looking for best way to store it. I have a small 2 car garage and even after cleaning up for the past 2 weeks , it's still going to be a tight fit.

Any issues storing it on plastic saw horses? What I was thinking is store it on the side of the garage right now with the horses (with tarp) while I am using it. But in the winter store it at the front of the garage on same horses. My truck will fit, but not by much so thinking this might be a good compromise.

Are there any problems storing on horses long term?

It looks like this boat was damaged/dropped on the right side. There are cuts and even 2 spots on the seam that are smashed in yet it did not budge at all and is seaworthy . I don't think there is anything wrong with a 2 piece hull like some people seem to think fwiw.

Sorry to hear your new Passport was damaged and needs replaced. Bummer.

Your Passport manual (https://media.hobie.com/digital_assets/Passport_Foldout_Manual_Extended.pdf), as with most Hobie Mirage kayaks, recommends two acceptable storage methods:

1. Upside down on a pair of crossbars.

2. Suspended upside down using webbing.

Your use of sawhorses should satisfy method 1 if the sawhorse thickness is at least 1.5" - 2" and the length of each sawhorse exceeds the width of your Passport.

Thank you. What I have should work fine as they are extendable.
