Where does the hole for the transducer cable go?

The older model had a designated spot to drill right in front of the transducer scupper hole on the top of the deck.

It goes on the firewall behind the scupper hole (where the sticker is)

I don't like that answer! How are you supposed to reach back there to screw on the backing nut?

Like it or not, find a friend with long arms that can reach back through the 8" twist and seal hatch and get the plastic nut engaged or install another 8" hatch in the aft Hobie deck where the logo is embossed.
That's the only way to reduce the "reach needed" to install the through hull wire part.
