Lynx tandem?

My sister and I currently use an older style Hobie tandem for our kayaking. The problem is that the kayak is very heavy and it's getting very difficult for us old farts (me 61, her 70) to load it on top of our car (no, we will not consider a trailer!). We were hoping to buy the new iTrek 14 tandem but our local dealer says their allotment for 2022 is all filled up and now we are on the wait list for 2023. Sigh. In the meantime we put down a deposit for two Lynx. While these will be much lighter and faster, we would still prefer to have a tandem. Does anyone know of plans for a Lynx tandem for the future?
