Anybody have any idea when Hobie will have Lynx Deck Pad Kits available? I can find after market products but not Hobie OEM.
Two local dealers say "good question".
Thanks
David

My dealer just called me to tell me they were going direct to the mfgr because Hobie gave them no indication when they would be in stock. Not sure if that means I'll get it any sooner, but they're at least trying to get one.

I'm also waiting for an H-Rail kit from Hobie as well.

These come from the Lynx molder in France, so hopefully in a container headed this way, but I have no real details on that.

So I ordered my deck pad when the Lynx was announced, and I'm still waiting for it. Will I ever receive it? It's been, what 2 years? It's a freaking deck pad!

Let me guess. "Supply chain issues out of our control"? That's BS. TWO YEARS IVE BEEN WAITING!!!!

Or is this a case where Hobie decided some retailers are more important than others? My local Hobie retailer still can't get crate soft tops, but REI received thousands last summer.

Smatthew, I agree with you. In talking to my longtime dealer they say that the new parent of Hobie seems to be in total disarray. When I asked the dealer about the Lynx deck pads they told me that they could not get a straight answer from Hobie on if they were ever going to get more of them made. Not a good sign. I wish if that is the case that Hobie would just make an announcement one way or another. Hobie if you are even monitoring this board please provide some guidance if these are still a viable product so those that are waiting will know if we should move on away from Hobie’s product.

So I did not know that Hobie had new owners. Who owns them now? This may explain why the long waits for accessories is happening. I would not have bought my Lynx if I had know the H rails were going to come in 2 years.
