I purchased my Lynx about a month ago. This weekend I noticed what appears to be small cracks in the seam of the hull. I believe these are just cosmetic, but while my hull is under warranty I thought it might be smart to confirm that these won't contribute to any long term issues.

The first crack in Picture 1 is located on the left side of the stern.

The second crack in Picture 2 is located on the left side of the stern about 4" from the other crack close to the rudder.

Thank you,

Any update on this? Has it gotten worse? Was it warrantied?

Normal.

The weld seam is only about 3/32" wide, anything that hangs over that isn't welded and looks like it's cracked. My local dealer had 20 lynx's in stock when I bought mine and they all had areas like that.

My Lynx is 15 months old and has literally 1000s of miles on it fishing 4-5 days a week. Those areas haven't caused any issues and look the exact same as day 1.
