So for some of us, it's been almost 2 years since the H rails were asked for. We were told it was due to them being produced outside of the US and this would be solved by more strategic planning and yet here we are still without the H rails! Is Hobie as a company failing? Do they lack real leadership? How can they not be addressing something that has been going on for almost 2 years? Why have they not brought manufacturing back to the US as they should have done? All I wanted for Christmas was the H rails so all the accessories I bought to use on them won't be worthless.

My cousin had the same issue with the H rails. It's been a real pain. Hobie should've sorted it out by now.

Hobie has been working hard to bring production, injection molds, and extrusion processes out of Asia. Hobie opened a manufacturing facility in Mexico and has closed production in California. The company invested in state-of-the-art injection molding machines and rotational molding machines. The facility in Mexico is top-notch, but there is some delay as they get production moving on all cylinders again. Parts and accessories are a major focus and I have just recently rejoined the team to help them get that moving.

Matt,
So good to see you back in the loop again.
Your retiring left big shoes to fill and it's been painful to see lack of response.
I also miss Roadrunners sage comments too.

Hi Matt

Thank you for the update. Just selling more boats without the accessories is not going to help Hobie. The Lynx can be a real game changer with all the right accessories hooked onto it which was why I like a lot of others, purchased one as well. I ask that when the H rails are nearing shipping to let me know. I will keep an eye out with Melton tackle and look forward to actually being able to use the Lynx. Hopefully before the end of the year.

Sincerely

Todd Killeen
