Four days at 3-Mile Canyon (eastern end of Columbia Gorge) sailing, sweet. The wind was a blowin; 15 -20 knots Friday and Monday, and 20 - 30+ on Saturday and Sunday (the windsurfers were rigging 3.7s and 4.2s). Needless to say I had a second person on the boat on Saturday/Sunday and kept the jib furled. The swell ranged from 2 -4 feet with the occasional 5-6 footer. Beating into the wind was a slow rollercoaster ride, but worth it in the return with broad reaches surfing the waves. It was a wet and wild ride.
