Hello, I just acquired an older H14 and am looking forward to sailing it solo this summer. The hull number is an old one stamped into the pylon - 3701

Is there any way to get the year of the boat from this number? The sail pattern looks consistent with 1970-1972, white with a single blue panel near the top.

Also, after cleaning up the blocks, the sheaves look like they are wooden. Is that a real thing?

Thanks for the help!

Pre-1973 is as close as I can get. Yes, the old blocks had side cheeks that were not metal.

Awesome, thanks Matt!

It's an old one, for sure.
